well i gut load the crickets with fruit and veggies 4 hours before i feed him. he has a 40 watt desk lamp and a 40 watt uvb light. plus he gets some sun because hes right in between 2 windows which get sun most of the time. i dust the crickets with zoo med repticalcium without D3. should it have...

ok so Roshi's right front foot is swollen and one of his claws on that hand seems to be protruding. he's taken a few falls in his enclosure, but nothing too serious. I'm worried it might be an infection.:( i'll post pictures so you guys can give me a diagnosis hopefully.

ive been wonderin the same about my jackson's cham. His name's Roshi! haha similar names. ^^ i've seen pics of Jackson's chams with quite a bit of meat on their bones. is that because theyre just older or something?

He has some pretty big horns. Just got done shedding a bit a bit ago. i'd like to take this pic again when he's nice n clean

i'll post pics of him awake and sleeping. its very strange. he's normally a very calm cham. always bright green and doesnt mind contact with people which is kept to a minimum. but when he sleeps he just turns darker for some reason.:confused:

hes fine now. he's normally a very happy green fellow. thank you! I also want to know when he sleeps, he turns a bit darker too. Is that a natural instinct to better blend in so predators wont see him? because Panthers tend to change colors when they rest too. is it the same for jackson's...

So i know when a Jackson's chameleon turns a darker color, its stressed. today we had some decent sunshine come through and Roshi, my jackson's, was completeley green then turned a very dark dark brown. is he just making himself darker to absorb more sun? or did something really upset him?:confused:

Oh no! that's horrible! i'm new to chameleons. i bought a jackson's chameleon about a week ago. i can't imagine waking up to something like that.. :(
