Herbert tries to eat his goldfish brother

And I'd never assume you're not looking out for others. I just think your concerns are being voiced a little harshly. Maybe I'm just a baby. Hah.

Herbert tries to eat his goldfish brother

This whole thread is what makes me not want to ask for help/post observations that I think are interesting. Everyone on this forum is here to find information to become better keepers, and I'm not sure if I will ever be able to fully utilize it due to some of these extreme reactions. Have a...

    Baby Cage Size

Hi everyone, I know there are a lot of threads on this, and I have skimmed them, but I'm looking for a more current consensus haha. I'm looking into cage sizes for a baby/juvenile Panther. I was originally planning to go ahead and get a 24x24x48 and try to segment it into a more appropriate size...

    Rest in peace, Alphys.

Sorry for your loss. Don't beat yourself up too bad though! It's clear you loved her and tried to give her a good life.

    My current clan of pets!

We got her from a shelter as a stray, so we're not sure on age. Definitely young, I'm guessing about a year. She's stayed under 30 for the five months we've had her. My guess is a pit/Boston mix, so spot on!

    My current clan of pets!

Thanks! I think the pic I chose misrepresents how beefy she is haha. She's 30 lbs so idk about a chi mix

    My current clan of pets!

Hi guys! No chameleon yet as I'm still acquiring everything for the enclosure but I thought I'd share my current babies. Stimpy and Juniper our my White's tree frogs, and I also have a juvie super snow leopard gecko, Moonman. On the warm blooded side is Pearl my mutt (bonus points if you can...

    First chameleon, jacksons?

Thanks for your replies. I'm still super far away from purchasing a cham of any species, but out of curiosity, are Mt. Kenyan jackson's any more difficult than the more common xanths? The only CB jacksons I've come across so far are adult jacksonii jacksonii on FL chams. To be honest, I think...

    First chameleon, jacksons?

Thanks for the replies. I was going to ask about CB jacksons and their availability, as I haven't really found any in my limited searching. I'm more than willing to wait to find one, as it will be a really long time before I have the enclosure on lock. What to you all think? Are cb jacksons...

    First chameleon, jacksons?

Thanks so much, Carlton. So I'm now for sure set on a larger cage. I figure that even if further research sways me towards a veiled or panther this will be suitable for that species. This is why I'm setting up so far in advance :) I'm in California so I will be using an AC in the summer, I'll...

    First chameleon, jacksons?

Thanks for the input! I've heard a lot about Arcadia bulbs being long lasting, I think I will just go for that set up. I've read that keepers sometimes start chams in smaller cages and then move up; would it be at all problematic to start straight with a 24x24x48? I will likely get a juvenile...

    First chameleon, jacksons?

Hi guys! I just made an account here after lurking on a million posts. As stated, I'm in the very beginning research stages of chameleon ownership. In fact, I probably won't even purchase the little guy/gal until the fall. I have my heart set on a Jacksons, but could be easily swayed in order to...
