i have a metal screen top on it and a heat lamp on it but it feels like its only heating up that little corner of the cage. Is that okay that it is just that corner for his basking spot? Also, he tends to stay in the light more so than under the heat lamp. I hardly see him under the heat lamp

i have a new cage on the way. i suppose itll be easier to cage the crickets when they are in a cage that has less stuff cluttering my way to get to the bottm

I switched his lights to 9-9. I might as well take out the mealworms, RIP. I see a couple droppings. But i also see a 1 or 2 crickets sitting around. is there any way to know if he has eaten or not? or is it just a guessing game?
