I moved my baby blue bar ambilobe in to a new 16x16x20 mesh cage from a 10 gallon glass tank a few days ago and I also added a brighter and stronger light for him and the plants, however, I have noticed he has turned to darker colors more often from his regular light brown color. Is it because...
He lives in a 16x16x20 metal mesh cage. It has a golden pothos and a zebra plant inside of it along with vines stretching across the cage all over. He seems to love his zebra plant, he never seems to leave it
i have a metal screen top on it and a heat lamp on it but it feels like its only heating up that little corner of the cage. Is that okay that it is just that corner for his basking spot?
Also, he tends to stay in the light more so than under the heat lamp. I hardly see him under the heat lamp
i have a new cage on the way. i suppose itll be easier to cage the crickets when they are in a cage that has less stuff cluttering my way to get to the bottm
I switched his lights to 9-9. I might as well take out the mealworms, RIP. I see a couple droppings. But i also see a 1 or 2 crickets sitting around. is there any way to know if he has eaten or not? or is it just a guessing game?
He does get some pretty hefty crickets. The breeder said he was on 1/4 crickets and he's had a couple big ones. maybe he just gets fuller faster off of the big ones? His lights turn off at 10ish and turn on at 9ish. I am upgrading to a different cage in which I intend to add real plants to. Im...
Thanks :) he's great and i love him! His light turns off around 10 and turns on around 9 in the morning. Occasionally it seems like he naps every now and then, I also catch him taking some long blinks every now and them. Should i take the mealworms out and replace them with waxworms? and...
