ok! problem solved. i went out and got an 18 inch repti glo 5.0 tube with a 20 inch hood. i also replaced the heat lamp bulb with a 60 watt house hold bulb. it seems a little dim. can someone with an indoor cage post an image of their cage so for some reassurance? here is what mine looks like-

It was a high of 93 today with a low of 73. should i leave him in my room and put him next to an open window?

ive had him since june 20th. he couldnt have been more than 2 months when i got him. i guess hes much younger lol ive been working on his cage and what not so often i guess it felt like more time. what watts would you recommend for basking and uvb??

he could be 3-4. that would make more sense. yeah, im working on his lights asap and putting his cage outside for the day tomorrow

My timer for my lights has two plugs. should i use a 40-60w regular house light for his heat lamp and keep it on the same schedule as my other lights???

Mojo is about 4-5 months old. is his color coming along alright?

the heat lamp it directly on the side of his cage on his favorite plant. it has one of those deep purple lights. thinks its too hot? and is two 24w bulbs too bright for him?

there is one 'Deep Blue' 24W drylight 10KK and one 'Corallife' 6700K 24W. I keep those one for 12 hours during the day and his heat lamp is on 24/7. It is my brothers old fish tank light set up.

It seems to be more of a poo than a liquid cause it stays clumped. i cant exactly catch him in the act but there is a clump stuck to his tail that i see. it seems like in between of a liquid and solid. kind of a mush i guess. how do you do a fecal check?

So I've noticed that my chameleons rear end is usually white....and there is white on his tail usually...does anyone know a good way to get his, for lack of better word, poo off of him?

I just went out and got him waxworms, a little big though :/ i put one on a leaf in front of him and he went after it right away! i couldnt find smaller crickets though. any idea where a good place to order them from and what size?

glad to know that he is good lookin :) ill get smaller crickets and a looot of them today. ill look around to find some worms. how many wax worms should i get? and how do i feed them to him? i got him from a small private breeder selling excess babies he couldnt take care of in maryland...
