Everytime I go to either one near my place the poor veileds they are selling are in a space approx 1 foot by 1 foot by 1 foot,,,with one bendable climbimg vine and a fake plant with 3 leaves on it,,,,the poor guys are all grey and distressed looking with a fake rock...
As soon as he is comfortable hes gunna eat,,,my 9 week old guy eats anywhere from 20 - 30 a day!!! but it took him a few days to get used to his cage!!!

Ive read that up to 5 months old,,,,they should be eating about that much twice a day,,,and after 5 months old you decrease the amount by 4 or 5 feeders for about another 4 months after wwhich time he becomes a sub adult and feedings can go down to approx 5 to 7 crickets every second day!!!!!
It might be easier to maintain humidity levels if you went out and bought a Pathos,,,Ficus and or a Suffelera plant!!!!
And you will need to explore a bigger cage!!! Start now cuz before you know it youll be looking at a crammed adult cham in a small enclosure!!!!

You could always try bowl feeding her!!! My little guy was pretty shy when I first got him home at 4 weeks old!!! So as was stated let her have peace for long periods of time and get used to her new surroundings!! I only went in to his space to place the bowl,,,once they see the crickets scootin...
I do a lot of gutloading!! But I was made aware on this forum in the umpteen care sheets and blogs and numerous thread readings,,,that calcium without d3 should be used everyday for young cams and,,,as the get older and their feeding schedule lightens up to every second day or so then obviously...

Sun - Calcium with d3
Week 2 - Mon, Tues, Wed. Thurs, Fri, Sat - Plain Calcium no d3

My guy is young and Im just about to start getting him used to my hands,,,,he has been with me for a month now,,,and been hanmdled minimally but has been bowl fed so he knows our hands!!!
