ok so i did some experimenting with the flex tube extension. i found that i can extend the tube pretty much as far as i want (within reason) as long as there are no vertical spots in the tube. otherwise they either cant climb up into the feeder resulting in a starving cham or cant climb up to...
how old is your cham to only eat 1 roach a day?
if you have already done it once while monitoring then why wouldn't it be ok while you're not? :) i just updated my cricket auto feeder thing i need to put up some more pics, but here's how i am doing it with crickets if you haven't stumbled...

nice cage. kinda the same thing i did with mine for the pvc / zip tie / mesh walls.

my morph is the same.. she will come over to me when i open the cage and climb onto my hand with no hesitation. i don't ever rub or pet my herps but once in a while she will rub her head against my fingers like she has an itch or something :p
no way to keep it clean w/o cleaning it every day lol
you could take a cheap plastic dish or cup and poke a small hole in it, place it above the cham cage and fill with water so you will have a makeshift dripper until you can get a real solution. i used this method for a while...
i just dust heavily 1x/week when i clean and refill the keeper. you could also just put some dust in the jug feeder so they will walk around in it before getting eaten.
