I would avoid the glass cages imo. More cons than pros, and the cons seem to all have to do with the chams health wich is not negotiable to me personally. The main ones i heard are that you dont have the airflow that the cham needs and the other is that the glass can not only confuse the cham...

My roomate walks into my room and alot of the time I am reading the chaeleon forum or I am watching a chameleon video online and he goes and posts on facebook " just walked into my roomate beating off to chameleon vidoes...

I know what its like to be broke! When I made my setup I had a lot of help from my roomates left over wire vines but I picked up a couple of schefflera
plants for about 3 bucks each. My cham loves to sleep at the base of them and they have been really easy to care for!

My first reptile was a bluebelly (western fence) lizard and I duck taped a hole crickets were escaping from on my cage. He somehow climbed across the top screen of that cage and stuck his complete body to the tape.
I completely forgot I taped the cage and couldnt find him for 3 DAYS!!! then...
I took a sandwich sized Tupperware, cut a hole in the bottom, placed it upside down, and set my dripper on top for some falling force. I have also read that you can hang a piece of string from the top screen and the water will flow down it.
