Well like it says in my title. My girl Eva has been slowing down on her eating tremendously. She use to get 6-8 crickets every other day roughly eating maybe 4-5 of those. Now i swear she is down to like 2-3 crickets maybe every third day, and i have been trying hornworms(never really liked them...
Darla,
Like melissa had stated they dont camo themselves. You should take a look at these care sheets to really see how much work goes into caring for a Chameleon. The Panther care sheet https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/panther/
And the Veiled care sheet...
They are just like a phoenix worm I believe. High in calcium, not a good staple because so small and would probably need a good amount for meal. The turn into flies though after some time. My female panther eats these like crazy but she only gets a few everyother day as in like 2-4 of them.
Eva finally had time while our newest Child slept to FR, and we recently took her big ficus out of her cage so this is her new FR. And she is weighing in at a nice 65Grams.
Thank you & Yea Jann I have the bin in her cage, but no signs of eggs yet. I am checking her weight once a week, and she has been pretty normal. And her neck really only gets big if she is more declined, but I don't know. She really has grown a lot since we got her. I have slowly been cutting...
With my schedule I have not given her time out for a while but here she is finally out FRing. Getting big, and I am thinking she is getting some edema on her neck, but doing overall well
Deadhd,
I agree that was a lucky shot, she normally sleeps somewhere that I can not see. When I do get a chance to see her sleep I stare for way to long.:D
Jann,
yeah I love when she sleeps, and she has been going through color changes pretty hard lately. She is having a lot more orange and still the purple spots and blue on top of her head. I like the sleeping pics cause they are mostly relaxed and you get some good light colors
