I have seen the results of mbd but my chameleon gets around just fine. He can lift himself up pretty well and his legs aren't curved. He has a vine that he chills on and it's like he lays down on it? Is that normal?
I posted earlier but I got concerned. I have the repashy superload and calcium plus. The superload contains vitamins A min. 100,000 IU/LB, vitamin D min. 10,000 IU/LB, and phosphorus min. 0.6%. Are those good measurements?
Also, I dust every feeding with the calcium plus which contains vitamins...
Im trying to feed my cham his first mealworm but I don't know how to approach this. I put a few in a cup in the bottom of his tank but he hasn't touched them yet. He seems uninterested in anything that I hold. How do I introduce him to foods that don't crawl around like crickets do?
I have the superload too. That's what I was feeding the crickets and I was dusting with the calcium plus. I just wanted to know how often I should dust with the calcium plus and if I should always feed the superload to my crickets.
Okay one more question lol. Do I continuously let my crickets eat the superload? I also purchased the calcium plus to dust as well because it was recommended. Do I feed AND dust everyday?
My 3 month old veiled is acting really weird lately. He hardly eats, its almost like he doesn't see the crickets. And now he is running to the bottom of the cage very often. At first I thought he was hunting but now he picks at the glass like he sees his own reflection? Is this unusual?
!!!
My veiled is 3 months old and I want to introduce him to some fruits instead of eating crickets all the time. He doesn't seem interested unless the food is moving. How do I approach this method? He wont eat out of my hand but I have only had him for a week and one day so im sure he isn't...
Your Chameleon - I have a 3 month old Veiled. I have had him since Dec. 23.
Handling - Almost everyday but that's because of renovation in his terrarium lol.
Feeding - I'm only feeding small crickets right now. I gutload them with cricket quencher and potatoes and dust them with reptivite maybe...
