Well after he fell asleep his bright green color came back, so I'm not as worried about his color now. We even saw him eat a bunch of crickets this morning!

    Escapee Crickets and other questions

How worried should I be if a few got loose in my house? I am buying pinheads, or 1/4" right now. They are so small, a few of them were able to get out of my cage by crawling right under the white pvc bottom (I have the Zoo Med Reptibreeze) I do have a feeder cup, so I'm trying to contain...

Is it normal for them to be fairly dark (unhappy?) at first? When I first got him home today he was a bright green, but now has been pretty dark in color for the last few hours

Yep...boy cham with a girl name :) My new 3 month old male carpet cham. I'm pretty sure he's saying hi in the 2nd picture. Just got him today. Within 5 minutes he was up at his basking spot warming up. So excited he's finally here! Thanks to everyone on these forums for helping me get...

    Critique My Setup

Lol, I actually went back and fourth for a while trying to decide what to do about branches, in the end I didn't take branches from my yard because for a few reasons. All we have is pine trees, we live in an association and I didn't want to get in any hot water with them for cutting the trees...

I didn't even think about this! I wonder if they'll be okay in there? I will say so far they've gotten wet several times and I haven't noticed any water running off or anything like that, I did wash them really well in hot soapy water

Target of all places, like in the home decorating area. I looked at craft stores (like Michaels) and they had some too but I liked these better because they were a little thicker and looked more like a real branch.

I'll be getting a juvenile carpet cham this Tuesday, finished set up today. Basking temp hovers between 83-84, humidity is around 68, I'm waiting for my mister to go off again to check the humidity at that time. I have a shower curtain on the left and back side to help with humidity. I'll...

    Cleaning Question

I'm currently setting up for a carpet cham I'll be getting next week. Wow set up is taking me a lot longer than I thought it would! Anyway...as I use push pins and fishing line, etc. to set up my cage, and attach sticks and vines I can't help but think...when I do a full on thorough cleaning...

For reference, this is the cage I have, the 16x16x30: http://zoomed.com/db/products/EntryDetail.php?EntryID=274&DatabaseID=2&SearchID=5 And this is the try I'd like to use: http://www.lllreptile.com/products/14108-16-x-16-x-30-screen-cage-water-tray-1-tray

    Tray to go under cage?

I called LLL Reptile and was told the 18x18 tray would be too large for my cage (16x16), that the 16x16 wouldn't sit on the 4 L shaped corners of the tray, and they said their 16x16 wouldn't fit my cage either. Has anyone used the lll reptile tray with a zoo med reptibreeze? I feel like...

    Tray to go under cage?

Again, thanks, this is exactly what I'm looking for! I'm hoping (assuming) the weight of the plant will help to direct water towards the center, I have quite a few rocks in there so it should.

    Tray to go under cage?

This is perfect, thanks! With this, would I still put in the floor piece that came with my enclosure, and have holes in both that and this piece? I have the zoo med reptibreeze, that comes with a pvc-type flooring piece to go in the bottom of the enclosure. Without it, it's just an open...

    Tray to go under cage?

I'm having the hardest time finding something to serve as a tray underneath my cage. My cage bottom is 16x16. I have it sitting on top of a bath vanity that is 24x18 3/4". I want something I can drill holes into so that water funnels down through the sink into a bucket below. Because the...
