So should I even waste the trip to the vet? Cause we found another one near and it's open and will look at chameleons.
Right now I have him on a towel and in a box wedge up near his lights. He still makes an effort to open his mouth at me.
So what do I do?
I put the dripper near his mouth and let it drip on the edge. He did open his mouth alittle to take some in. I will update later cause I have to go.
Anything I can do til a vet?
Right now he is still down at the base of the pot kinda laying upside down and holding with his feet. He opens his mouth if I look long enough like he always does but he doesn't hiss. He still tries to move but can't seem to find a way to do it.
We called the clinic and they aren't open right...
I don't know. I guess I have good news... I asked my mom last night and she said in the morning we would call the small clinic to see if they take chameleons. I think she is going to let me take him in...I really hope all is well and they can do something about it. I'll let you know what happens.

Just two days ago I took his whole cage outside to clean and set his plant under the hose to mist. It misted him for about 5mins. After that he was alittle slow but then went straight into his cage. (the misting brought some shedding out)
I think he is really stressed.. Cause he seems to grip...
He is pissed off. I had to move him and he absoultly hates contact. That is a Schefflera Umbrella plant.. Don't worry it's safe I checked with members on here.
Hello members. I haven't been on in awhile so I have decided to update.
Charlie is fine but still his hissy self. It's getting to the point that I don't want to keep him..:(
I thought it would be awesome but chameleons come down to work and I don't have time now.
So I guess I want to...
I just bought wax worms a few days ago for a treat. Well this is second time I bought them and second time some of them turn into moths. Only time I bought these before was a few months ago.
What do I feed the moths?
What do I keep them in?
Sorry if this post is already somewhere out...
That would have made me cry. You describe it very well like I could even imagine it. Its so hard to let go when you know it needs to be done. Sorry you had to but I guess it was the best thing.:(
So if I cover the cage will I have to use a bulb? If I get an A/C I will make sure I can do everything to keep the temp above 65. I can set the thing to 74 like it is now in the kitchen. If I find he isn't sleeping well I will put the red bulb on for him but Idc for a night light for me.
Is the container in the cage or are you holding it? At first I got my cham to eat while I held it..now I have to have it in the cage. Just keep trying and if you have to..put the container in the cage securely and leave the cham alone.Don't feed it anything else until it learns to take from the...
