with her eyes sunken like that its not a good sign i think leavin it any longer to lay on her own may result in her gettin worse, you shud get her to a vets asap. i just dont want to see some1 go thru what i went thru thats all i ended up losing my cham.
that cham doesnt look well for a 1 year old, my old female was small for her age but she had alot more meat on her legs than urs, if ur keeping ur cham in a tank like that ur goin to need a thermostat which im suspecting u havent got one as i cant see one anywhere on ur setup which means shell...
this is the exact same situation i was in with my female cham about a month ago, she was eggbound and this is why her eyes were sunken as she was drinking plenty of water and as i didnt kno chams eyes sunk for other reasons other than dehydration ( yer im stupid) i just thought she wasnt gettin...
bloody hell, thanks for the replies guys i appreciate it, the thing is tho he only eats 2 locusts per day and has done for a long time so wudnt want to change this feeding routine , what im gettin at lol is if i was to dust his food twice a week with calcium that wud mean only 4 locusts a week...
hi guys, my cham is about 19 months old now and was wondering if i shud change the amount i supplement his food now hes getting older. this is what i do now :
5 days per week he has 2 XL locusts dusted with calcium powder
2 days per week he has 2 XL locusts dusted with multivitamin w/o D3...
u cud try putting her in a seperate layin container make sure she cant get out then if shes ready shell have nothing to do but lay, some chams go over 30 days before they lay tho, keep an eye on her make sure shes drinkin, she will be restless when shes ready to lay , movin up and down the cage...
i was just readin thru this topic and was gona say exactly what james said. u want to be getting a calcium supplement that you dust with 5 days a week such as calypso. then you want to be getting a vitamin supplement without D3 such as reptivite w/o D3 which you would dust with at weekends ...

hes lookin realy nice :D im not sure if you are using a calcium supplement to dust your crix with but nutrobal is a vitamin supplement and contains D3 so im not sure if u want to be using that everyday, i think you shud be only using that once a month or something.
i put mine in a cage that size at about 6 months old when i bought them and they were fine . im sure u cud put them in younger as long as they can find the food.

thats awesome , i did have some a while ago but i always thought they were bad so never used em, ill order some 2mora :D i would only use them one maybe two days a week. emilio is approx. 18 months now i actually got him a year ago today lol
