Does anyone elses Chameleon sleep on the same branch regardless where it is placed?

Both of my Chams tend to retire to the same spot at night in their vivs. Unless their lights go out before they make it there!

    Cham is hiding from me...

My panther is the one of the friendliest around but he still hides from me sometimes. Its just in their nature. Usually a nice treat lures them out though ;-)

Anybody in the uk know a reasonable online shop to get a mister/fogger from

I've got a Mist King and its superb. It works out cheaper to get it from Canada than it does Europe due to the currency rates. Only downside is it takes between 1-2months to arrive unless you want to upgrade and pay more for quicker delivery.

Attatching vines in a screen cage?

I make a small loop at either end by bending the vine back on itself and holding in place with a zip tie. I then use garden wire to attach to the screen ensuring they are tied from the inside to out to ensure the chams cannot hurt themselves on the sharp bits

Try Surrey Pet Supplies. Their prices are usually quite good from my experience.

which friendlier - veiled or panther

My Veiled isnt particularly friendly. Most of the time he will hiss, shoot his tongue and lunge at me. Sometimes even try to bite me whilst on my hand. He's never actually hurt me though. I respect his wishes when he gets a bit mardy. My panther is very friendly. He doesnt often climb out of...

    HELP!!! Eye problem with Simba!!!

Glad to see his eyes looking normal again. Some of those pictures looked really uncomfortable for him - poor guy. Both of my chams have those Exo-Terra vines in their vivs - I may take them out now after seeing this thread. Although they've had them months without any issues so far. I'm...

    I get my silkworms tomorrow!

Does he usually eat in front of you? My Yemen can be a bit funny sometimes even with silkworms - he waits for me to disappear before he devours them

Help. Chameleon is not eating properly.

From what I have read before this could be the result of a supplement issue. What are your supplement products and how often are you using then? What feeders are you using and are they gutloaded?

    Can anyone Identify this plant?

I had one of these in my Veileds cage when he was young. He loved it. Slept on it every night and always climbed down towards it for a look around. No idea of its name, we called it "the gay plant" because of its pink flowers and because he loved it so much. Pretty sure they are Cham-safe. We...

I would love one of these guys. They really are stunning animals. How are they generally with people, are they quite placid like panthers?

    Releasing chams into the wild.

Even if you were seriously planning on doing this - I would not be wanting to release animals from the same clutch so that they mate with each other. Recipe for disaster in my eyes.

    Not interested in silkworms

They should stay alive at house temperature. Did you keep them clean, feed them mulberry/chow etc...?

Silkworms from UK shipped to Ireland

I would imagine the hardest part is finding stock. Then you will need to pay for some kind of next day delivery if possible from the UK. I'm not sure if Silks last very well in transit over periods longer than this. Good luck anyway!
