    Shedding

Melvin was doing much better today. I always mist him twice a day and use a dripper in between. I also mist and wait until he starts lapping, but yesterday he sat on his perch licking his screen while I misted for about 20 minutes. He thinks I am his personal water fountain! Thats the longest I...

    Shedding

I will see what happens in the next two days. I am keeping a closer eye on him. I think the shedding spine is having an effect, is still in shed. The face and head went quickly, it looks like his foot and leg are complete (one one side). Maybe he is miserable, lol. I appreciate all you suggestions.

Thats a good idea, I have also been letting him outside to get some direct sun. I have been taking him outside for an hr or so a day on hot days since I first got him. he loves hanging out in the fresh air and sunshine. It seems like it would always transition him into a shed shortly after his...

    Shedding

All the previous parts have shed and gone. The spine is much slower than the other parts. He is still taking water but this is the second day with no feces. He usually goes every day. He is not eating his super worms, normally wacks out two or three + crickets I think he is only eating a few...

    Shedding

My Panther is shedding in sections now. First it was around his eyes, than head, then his spine. Then his foot and leg, my question is.. along his spine it doesn't seem to be completing the shed as quickly as the other body sections? It looks like all his various colors combined along the spine...

    Panther

Why do they call them Panthers? Is it because of the way they move? They look like a Panther Cat stalking prey.

Cham going to bottom of cage?

Bottom Dweller My Panther is roaming around the bottom of the cage all the time. Sometimes on the floor, on the water catch dish, or lounging on a perch. I try to sneak a peak at him hoping to catch him drinking from the water, but I never do. I think he is hunting crickets, relaxing or all three.

    Panther shedding

This week my Panther started shedding. The other times it was complete body shed. This time it was the eyes first and than the head. It looks like it ended there. Do they shed on the head only? It does look like the eyes have grown.

    Whole ground flax meal

I use it on my super worms too! I give my crickets bug burger, greens, flax meal powder, strawberry's, veggies, they are like para-nah! Since I have added flax they seem to put some size on rather quickly when they shed. I give the strawberry flowers to my beardy, I never see him eat them but he...

    Distilled Water

Distelled water maker My buddy bought one about 4 years ago. Counter top model about 175.00. Best move he ever made. It makes 4 gallons a day tastes great and has payed for itself. That is going to be my next purchase I am tired of all the plastic bottles and it will pay for itself.

    not liking this.

Panther aggression. I have only had one panther for about 7 months now. He was very nasty at first and hissed and tried to bite me all the time. I just took my time and now he is seems to like coming out of his cage on my hand. Just move slowly and come from the front and low. I use to keep the...

    Lady bugs!?

Lady Bugs! I would not bring a Lady bug into my house. I use to live in the north east and have seen them infest houses.

    Nose rub

Its a standard retpi breeze 4X2X2, I cant upload pics. I have a live plant and fake vines, the whole nine yards. The only thing sharp enough to do it is the screen and he would have to rub it excessively. His cage it is very nice. I have had him for about 6+ months and accept for the first...
