She was not nearly so exhausted after laying this time...

    food for females

Cheers ^__^ So basically I did do everything right LOL. I just presumed that when Tilly had such a large clutch of eggs (60) at such a young age (5 months) that [I] had miss understood somewhere along the line. She certainly does not seem to be any the worse for the ordeal now and I am guessing...

    food for females

I was not aware when I first got a female cham that a restricted diet was important for her health. I was under the impression that all young chams, male and female would not over eat and did indeed need quite a lot of good quality food because they were growing fast. Sorry if this has been...

    Nuts in gutload

Thanks thats very useful! Nuts and sunflower seeds are all things that I have in the house for me to eat anyway LOL. As far as I know... almonds contain quite a bit of calcium but hazelnuts are not as calorific. I guess just offering a good mixture of different sorts of nuts is the way to go...

    where can i get dandelion?

Well you could always grow them yourself I guess? Dandilions are the hardiest weeds I know so I doubt if it would kill them where ever or however you grew them. They are not houseplants but a tub of dandilions on the kitchen windowsil wouldnt look so bad!

Cham letting out a little sigh noise

Tilly gives a little annoyed sigh sometimes when I take her out of her viv. It's not a hiss. She does not puff up or anything but I take it to be an indignant 'Humph how inconciderate to move me' kind of sigh.:D

    What are your chameleons names?

My girl is called Tilly. I was supposed to be getting a male veiled but there was a mix up and the little guy that was being saved for me got sold!!! I was thinking along the lines of Mr Peabody or Pogue or Pogel LOL. I don't know why I chose Tilly for her. I guess she just looks like a Tilly ^__^

    Oats and critters?

Is it OK to use oats instead of bran in with the critters? The last lot of crickets I bought were really starving and demolished a bunch of dandilion leaves and a piece of carrot with in minutes! So I had to feed them again LOL. I did not have time to sort them properly into their home when they...
