Too many for my likeing! 73 but she seems fine. I know that laying large clutches like this can shorten her life. I did reduce her food quite a lot but maybe the temps need to come down some as well. This is Tilly's 3 clutch now.
well not a single reply but panic over anyway LOL. Tilly layed and filled the tunnel back up. she up top basking now. No wonder it took her so long! They were right on the very very bottom. The last handfull of earth out of the tub had lots of tiny white eggs in ^__^ Tilly's apetite is back to...
My gravid cham who has been doing a bit of test digging for a few days actually started digging in ernest yesterday, which was a good thing... but when I got home from work she was still inside the hole! I did not want to disturb her at this point so left her there for an hour or two then...
Your cham is really beautiful. Do you have a picture of her when she is not showing receptive colours or non receptive colours so that we can compare please :)
that is really interesting! I have taken a look at the links. I would doubt very much if we would be able to get planning permission for even a small turbine where I currently live but all things worth looking into. Back to my last question though. Does anyone use solar panels or know anyone who...
I personally have not got a clue but my partner says that the leucistic ones have reduced pigmentation (very pale) and the others are total albinos. I really did not understand the rest of his explanation though sorry. He did say that neither one is dominant so if you breed them there is an...
Hey all fantastic in depth advice Cheers! I can presume that you have put a lot of thought into this already and are already doing most/all of this yourself. Now about that 80 ft windmill LOL I think the neighbours might have something to say about that one  but solar panels might be OK...
Reptile keepers I imagine generally have high electric bills due to the extra lights etc so do any of you have any energy saving ideas which may help us all with our carbon footprint thingie but which do not have a bad effect on our chams!
My female Tilly has never reacted with colours or anything else to anything! She is very layed back and does not seem to have colour changing abuiltities. She is always a lovely bright green with orangy markings (orangy markings since 5 months) She does have very very suptle darker spots which...
Great drawing it has come out fantastic! You are making me gealous now. I must try to find the time to some artwork again....I miss drawing and painting
Thanks. She is a pretty little girl. I am not sure of her exact age! She only came to live with me a little while ago. She is quite a nervous cham, not like my first little lady Tilly who never hisses or gapes at me ever! but Julliette IS settling in and getting used to me a bit more now, just...
Your little cham is lovely! I used yatch varnish (very well aired) with no problems and yes it can work with three sides wooden but an extra vent in one of the solid sides would not do any harm to ensure proper ventilation.
I took Juliette outside in the garden with me. She was a bit nervous I think and hated my phone when I tried to photographer her. I think the sun was reflecting on it or something. She had a bit of a hissy fit so I amandond taking any more LOL.
