Now i do keep in mind that Yoshi is a biig plant eater and he enjoys a few bites of fruit now and then. But my first chameleon maui did not eat plants or fruits at all. Along with giving the chameleon very good essential vitamins, feeding you chameleon repashy will make them healthy strong and...
So i decided to post a thread on chameleons eating repashy. I know my boyfriend posted something about this a while ago when my first female veiled r.i.p :( maui started eating it. I know many of you were skeptical about this but it is true and she loved it! She would actually spoon feed from a...
Yep thats all true. My chams spots looked a bit whitish and raised up out of the skin tho. But none the less there are tones of different bacterial infections that a cham can pick up. But as easy as it is to treat with some oral biotics and a topical, IT CAN BE FATAL IF LEFT ALONE. If you do not...
He is going to his first vet visit at 4 today for a fecal and an overall check up, due to an odd skin abrasion. I think it may be a fungal infection of some sort since he is w/c so immediate action needed to be taken. Hope he's going to be ok!
Wow i didn't know you guys are so close to me! I've been thinking about getting a panther in the near future. Its hard to find good breeders in Canada and you guys are so close to me! only an hour and a half or so away! Please let me know when you have some babies, because i'll deffinatly make...
bahahaha :D thats great. My friends call me the crazy lizard lady. Mostly because they really can't remeber the word chameleon for some reason. Its funny how people who know nothing about reptiles have the most challenging time to recall the word chameleon. lol my one friend is convinced my (...
Nm i just seen u brought her to the vet. But do you mean you too her to the vet before since you've had her? Or since shes been showing sign of illness
As sad as it is.... agreed :( But you never know. How come she wasn't taken to the vet sooner? Did she gradually end up like this or out of no where? She could have an intense impaction which can be fatal aswell
Oh my goodness thats so sad :( Hows she doing now after passing the stool? Vet asap! Im taking my fisher's to the vet first thing tomrrow for some unusual skin abrasions and a fecal check. You should have kept the stool and taken it to the vet with you to get a fecal done on her for parasites...
Did a vet tell you she's not gravid? Diy you have x-rays done? Because that looks like gravid colours to me. Exact same colours my female shows. And in the last pic it almost looks like u can see an egg above her back leg.
Well since their babies their in large cricket keepers.
Good humidity misted 3 times a day, with a damp paper towel at the bottom changed daily.
Their all eating and drinking like champs and have doubled in size already.
2.0 repti glow bulb on them.
Not much to discribe in the enclosure since...
Thank you very much :)
I have faith that he will. These are my first cham babies and i'm not going to let them down. Oh the responsibilities of being a parent lol
Thats a good idea thanks! I have some of that here for my contacts and it's extra sensitive, it's basically like sterile water. It's just so hard to know whats safe for him and not because he's only a week old and i mean these things are TINY. And this guy so happens to be the runt of them so...
I noticed 3 days ago now that one of my week old pygmy chams had one of its eyes shut. It's been three days now and the poor guy still isn't opening his eye and now his tongue aim is off. I can see him still moving it around and such but the actual eyeball itself will not open.
I need some...
oh well if he just finished a shed then its probably skin coming off sorry :) but regardless you should alllways dust his crickets! not too much tho. But you should be dusting every feeding or at the very least every other feeding. Figure out a schedual that works for you and gives him all the...
Id say he's deff a little male. Spur is there and at such a young age the vent wouldnt be so thickly developed for another few months. Same thing with my veiled. He looked like a little girl till 5 or 6 months.
I was wondering what was the matter with his nostril? Is it a crusty white...
I would love to feed my chams insects from around here. We have such a dense amount of dragonflies butterflies grasshoppers and mantis. But I've hear nothing but horror stories about it :( which really turns me off from the idea. I've heard of chams getting parasites from the w/c insects and...
