    IMO plenty of shade and water is better than keeping the cham indoors, how do you think they thrive in the wild? :rolleyes: that's why I asked if she had somebody who could take care of the cham while she is away! don't worry nobody likes roasted chameleon! :)

    no lamps just a lot of plants to make shade, lots of mistings like 4 times a day and a "cat-proof" screen cage. Sorry camimom but I think it's silly to suggest to keep a veiled indoors near the country where veileds and arabicus come from :) !
