get rid of the cardboard, looks bad and will get soggy and fall apart eventually, use plexiglass or shower curtain and if you get thin plexi and use masking tape before you drill you can drill it to fit the original screws! other then that the inside is pretty cool, i would maybe get some vines...
get a red solo cup and just hand feed a couple and then throw like 10-15 in the cup in front of him and make a way to hang it on the side of the cage next to his basking area, trust me he will eat them , he just needs you to show him where they are, my chameleon learned in 1 day how to do this...
thats jims chameleon and he mates like 3 to 4 females to one sire at the same time, so the clutch that your cham came from may or may not be from the same female, meaning may or may not have similar coloration. I have a different clutch than yours and my hatch date was same month but on the 27th
