Alright, makes sense. I will try it, he doesnt seem super interested in food all that much the past day or two, he may be full, I fed him quite a bit over the weekend. I am going to try and get some more feeders to spark his interest and change things up. Right now he is basking outside ^^

Don't use it, it is known to damage your chameleon's eyes! Just play it safe with the 5.0! =)

I recently purchased a male, and I think males are more often stone gray when they are younger, and develop their colors as they mature. Males are usually not that sort of pinkish color as stated above. Good luck on picking out your new addition! Chameleons are the best pet out there! =D

It's certainly sad because I saw a similar situation in a store near me. In fact they had a juvenile veiled (maybe 3 months) with an almost full grown Chameleon in a small enclosure with a waterfall. :mad::(
