I remember they have at IKEA a plastic tray with plastic slides which you can screw to the underside of your stand (works like a drawer). That might come in as quite a clean solution.
Better pictures would be good. Can you try with a zoom lens?
If it is a cricket bite, you might consult your vet, so that it does not infect further.
I think it is not mouth rot as it usually comes more as a swelling first. Yours seem to have a closed lip still.
I think you have to understand that this forum is open to everybody worldwide. And for people who care for their chameleons. So language is an issue, but shouldn't be reduced to it. If you don't want to respond to a thread because of your headache towards the language, don't do it.
If people...
They are very difficult to get at the moment. I have currently 6 and 10 more eggs waiting to hatch. But I will only ship within Asia, sorry. If you can, keep them as a pair. They easily breed if the setup of the enclosure is right.
Don't keep them with a red eyed tree frog. They come from...
It is a very terrible story of distrust. But your pets should be ok the least. Watch out for them for a while for any 'bad'digns. And talk to the sitter.
Pothos is a parasite. It needs a carrier with nutrients. Mesh doesn't work. I use a bark background and pothos loves it. If you don't want the bark, I recommend passion flower. It even curls around the mesh.
I' second that observation, different plants use different nutrients of the soil/water. My coffee plants produce fairly oily water yet clear, my ficus just stains yet makes the water yellow, my pothos is always in the same planter as any other plants but I would suspect that, as it has...
This thread leads to nowhere.
I suggest you start your breeding program. Sell the Chams to whoever wants to buy them and wait for feedback. If people start complaining about your Cham's survival rate, you are out of the game. If they are happy, you are in. Market is way beyond the people in...
Well, welcome to the addiction. This is a very helpful forum and most members can be very patient as well. (I think I have never introduced myself here - quite rude of me that time I guess and I always get reminded by intro threads that I failed to do so).
Good luck with your cham and feel...
I have not really seen UVB lights placed vertically throughout the enclosure yet. I would place all light sources on top. I would assume they need a temperature gradient as well as a light gradient.
I'll second the above. A proper UVB light like reptisun 5.0 definitely is a good idea. Get the tube lights as they are still better than the bulbs. Get it right away. This will help to slow down/stop mbd and in rare cases even reverse the effects. And the vet appointment is a must. Good luck on...
It fully depends on the character of the animal. You have to observe it carefully in its behaviour. Every animal is different as well as any human. Some like to be handled (maybe it is just the Stockholm syndrome), some just tolerate, some refuse at all. If you love your pet, you should watch...
For sure you will need a good misting system if you are traveling frequently.
But it depends on where you live also. If your temperatures and humidity levels suit the native environment of the Veileds it should be less of a problem.
If you get a misting system you will most likely install...
