what is normal for time in between your cham pooping . ive had him for 4 days now and i havent seen any poop any where . My cage bottom is bare, hes eating crickets and drinking water . i notice he has eaten some of the potho plant but of than that i havent seen any poop yet .

Thanks.I got him this past Friday I'm not set on a name yet . Do you see how dark he stays . I guess its when his basking . He hasn't explored the whole cage yet lm gonna let him settle in .

Nice idea . Well I got the 18x 18 and a 24 x24 water trays and the 24x24 doesn't fit the cage . Go figure it measures 24x23and3/4 .

Just brought water drainage trays from LLL reptiles can you guys give me different ways that you've set them up for use . I was just going to put some holes in the middle and let it drain in a bucket/rubber maid . Would appreciate some pictures of some other ways if you would share .

You are definitely off to a great start. Im getting a sub adult male veiled from Fl chams today also the weather had push the delivery date back so he will be here this morning . Lets swap out pictures once you have your cham . Good luck and don't hesitate to ask questions this forum is great .

I'm in Maryland and it got to 10 degrees here has been a problem keeping my cham warm but I order another veiled from Fl Chams that was suppose to get here Tuesday and I think he mite come tomorrow . It should reach the low 40s so Wish me luck .

I would keep a new uvb bulb on hand so when that happens I would be prepared . Excuse my tone just things I learn every day as I explore this wonderful wedsite .:)

You could but, a linear light for uvb Is better I've been told

The 5.0 is a great choice and I have a zoo med T5 fixture with a 5.0 uvb .

Just wanted to share . I'm getting a new sub adult veiled Thursday from Fl Chams . Almost finished getting his cage assembled still need to finish the bottom but , what do you think so far . It's a 2x2x4 . Sorry can't figure out how to get the picture to not be side ways .

Getting ready to purchase double bulb fixture with Arcadia 6% and 65k day light just wanted to make sure this is okay for my Veiled cham . I'm pretty sure it's okay but a little assurance .

Im not sure of any companies that custom build but chams do much better in screened enclosures or something with alot of ventilation .

I have the same question with the same cage size. You should get a 65k or higher fluorescent lamp for the plants I was told . I would buy a fixture the has two or four lamps so you could run the 5.0/10.0 and the 65k at the same time .

Hey forum I have a 24x24x48 cage that I'm running a 24 inch T5 with a 5.0 bulb . I was wondering if I could run the 10.0 bulb for more UVB for the live plants I have ( golden pothos) . Would this be to much UVB for my cham ( sub adult veiled ) .

What breeder would you recommend i could purchase a CB veiled cham with vivid colors . Juvenile, Sub adult .
