Thinking about getting some 1x3 pieces of boards, gluing them together with wood glue etc.

I just want to make sure I get the right care for them. I'm going to go searching for some nice pots and use them as decorations in the house. I know that ivy is a great climber but wasn't sure it was cham safe.
