Just realized this thread was here! About Crested...

Ok just making sure because so many people think it's okay to give them baby food. My little guy passed away after having him for 5 months. He had a really bad shed and when I looked back in his enclosure he had passed away. He drank water, but I never saw him eat, but I know he did. He also...

He's small but not that small, that was the size of mine when I got him. Where did you get him?

Just realized this thread was here! About Crested...

Post pics. Cresteds do eat at night, but you should be able to see him drink. I'm confused, so are you giving him baby food or crested gecko diet. Baby food is not good for them.

    Crested Gecko or Dart Frogs

Thank you, I've definitely considered gargoyles and I really want one, but I miss my little crested gecko so that's what I'm gonna stick with. At some point later on I will get a gargoyle though, I've been admiring them for a year now.

    Worried about new cham

I personally don't have a Cham at the moment, but I share what I know. I wouldn't use pliers, try cup feeding that's better. He's probably just stressed, and thirsty from being at the repticon. Just give him a week or two to settle in, and lower the vine. Also fill out the ask for help sticky...

    Crested Gecko or Dart Frogs

Ok thanks! I just need to be prepared for any questions my mom has, I've never had a reptile shipped so she's not sure about it. I'm trying to keep my options open, but as I said before, I'm pretty sure the geckos at the expo are goin to be over $100 and I don't want an extremely expensive gecko...

    Worried about new cham

He's probably stressed, and if he's about to shed he will look duller until he does. He's also very close the lights I would lower the vines.

    Crested Gecko or Dart Frogs

Ok, I don't have a problem with waiting, but my family is going and they're really good at talking me into stuff. Would you be comfortable with shipping to east Missouri?

    Crested Gecko or Dart Frogs

You said you will be shipping them once they hit 10-15 grams right? Do you have an idea of how long that will be? I'm going to a reptile expo October 22nd, and it will be hard to not be tempted lol. I'm still planning on trying to get one from you, but my mom is really nervous about having one...

Best Type of Chameleon and a few more questions.

I love my ball python. He crawls out of his hide when I come in the room and I've never had a problem with him not eating. I'm really looking into getting a milk snake at some point also.

Best Type of Chameleon and a few more questions.

I get it. I had to convince my dad to want one, then my mom couldn't say no lol. If I had more room I would get another snake, I'm working on it.

Best Type of Chameleon and a few more questions.

I'm homeschooled too! I just want to say, even though I've kept reptiles for almost 5 years, I still decided I wasn't ready for a chameleon. Also I've had a crested gecko before they're awesome! I miss my little guy so much that I'm getting another one. I'm more of a snake person though. When it...

    New tree!

Looks good! Schefflera might be a common house plant, but it's definitely one of my favorite plants.
