He looks like he needs a good shed but he's gorgeous. Can I buy him off you? :p Just joking .. I'm searching high and low for a gorgeous adult male but I'm having bad luck.
My female veiled, who is now around 18 months or so, has taken up digging within her enclosure again. I've palpated her many times and she doesn't seem to have any eggs. When she stretches out, nothing shows. No bag o' marbles.
She went through a REALLY ugly phase recently where she had...
24" x 18" x 24" (WxDxH) - I got these dimensions from the Exoterra site. I have the Mayan Edition. It looks pretty similar to the one I took the dimensions from.
I am from Canada :P and I am realizing that this OP is from Kentucky so glass wouldn't be a good option for her. Screen is better...
Do what people have already suggested. That's pretty much all we can say. I wish you and your chameleon the best. Please try finding a vet. If you care, you won't give up until you find one!
That isn't true. Female veileds can live in an ExoTerra glass terrarium no problem. Males, I would give them a larger enclosure. But my female thrives and she is healthy and beautiful.
You really need a vet... they can't just take a look at him? ..
What brand of UVB light is it? Take the heat lamp away .. but during the day, you should bump up basking to about 90 for now. Your cham needs to be showered frequently and don't touch him. I'm not sure if you can get him lively...
Absolutely! Gorgeous pic. I entered mine too but I don't think I'll win. I just think my girl is gorgeous haha .. but everyone else feels the same about their chammies! They are our children - we are biased :P
I would be afraid a thumb tack might come loose and puncture the chameleons body. What if he rubs his body on a loose tack? ... I would rather be safe than sorry personally. There are other alternatives out there that might be better.

Please fill this out asap!!
Take the heat lamp out right away. The temps should drop to about 65-70 at night.
You need a larger enclosure and it needs to be tall. I would say 2x2x4 (feet)...
I hear what you are trying to get at ... but I don't agree with you.
Both CB and WC chams are susceptible to Parasitosis.
If a chameleon is in overall good health and their immune system is strong, parasites can live inside their bodies for a long period of time, whether they are CB or WC...
Okay, and what about those individuals that have their chameleons in an outdoor enclosure with rain, wind and other extreme conditions but take their cham indoors during the "winter" months... explain that.
LOL what are you talking about? They are not around older and wiser chameleons. When a female lays her eggs, she's GONE. I don't think they care to stick around.
You need to formulate your sentences more clearly as I can barely make out your points.
Do you have any evidence to support your claims?
Chameleons, just like all reptiles that live in the wild, die from many different ailments and/or injuries. They don't have super powers. Yes, we keep chameleons as pets and we have the ability to have a cham checked/medicated by a vet but...
Okay .. but lions are a terrible comparison. Lions live in packs .. that is a whole other situation. Chameleons live ALONE so for them to adapt and survive, it's a lot easier. Chameleons know how to get their food and whether they are in the wild or in an enclosure, they have the ability to eat...
I'm not sure of the laws in Hawaii but usually, unless the landlord stipulates in the contract (verbal or otherwise), you can have an animal inside your house without the threat of being evicted. This guy probably didn't want to keep the cham that much because I honestly couldn't see myself EVER...
For those who don't know, Reptilia is a 'zoo' in Ontario... but they just have reptiles (from what I've heard) .. never been there but hear it's okay. I have my own zoo at my bro's store lol
