Soooo beautiful! I'm not quite experienced enough to comfortably adopt a panther Cham into my family yet. But they are by far my most favorite Cham. Maybe after a couple years and some experience. I don't like to make hasty decisions with an animals life at my hands.
I would probably have enhanced the photo personally if it were me. Phones never get the true colors down. I was trying to get a picture of mine in a beautiful vibrant green state but every time I snapped a photo... It looked all dull. Like baby vomit. Not at all what I was actually seeing. Or...
I put reptile carpet in mine... Looks like rough felt. But I like it because he can't ingest it and you can take it out a sterilize it when you need to. I am no professional chameleon keeper but I also has substrate in mine when I fist got him a month ago and read they can ingest the substrate...
what would one consider a safe sterilizing cleanser for your encloser/ non-live plants? Vinegar/water solution? I have a male veiled Cham under a year old going through a shed so I have been misting him more then normal and will need to do this soon.
Oh noooo! Haha! I made a mistake of putting the purching branch above his water. Pooped right in it. Then I rearranged everything a bit and now he only poops in one spot. Worked out for the best.
You know what..... You are correct. I grabbed the wrong one yesterday. I'll have to take it back and get the right one. Thank you for noticing that. I had to dig out the box I bought it in. Thought I was crazy. Lol. I'll just stick the old one back in for the meantime.
That bulb on the left is actually a UVB. I just got a new one yesterday because the one I had was given to me and I was not sure how old it was. I read they need to be replaced every 6 months.
