EBV is hard to get to but they do have some variety. IMO, wait til July 31/Aug 1 when the herp expo comes to San Jose. You'll get better pricing & selection.

    Handfeeding a Cham

I found that the girl who hates people will hand feed on silkies if I have them hanging onto a leaf so she doesn't automatically know my hand's behind it. Just make sure the leaf isn't going to rip cause they might accidentally ingest it.

Im getting some bearded pygmy leaf chameleons. Any advice?

Yeah a water dish is bad. I had bought a pre set-up tank for my PDF's & I always keep a small bowl of water for my frogs to rinse off in. A month or so later there were 2 pygmy babies that hatched in the tank. Unfortunately I knew nothing about Chams at the time & they both drowned by the...

    You All Lied to Me!

I've never fed off roaches or hornworms (yet) but by far the creepiest so far is the Silkworms, I hate when their fuzzy legs stick to me. What my husband finds odd is the silkies freak me out but feeding live mice to the snakes doesn't.

    Buying new cage need help

DIY is metal screening but it is also coated in plastic to prevent rust. As far as the difference, I prefer the DIY as my LLL one is harder to open (no handle) and doesn't lock as securely.

    Buying new cage need help

Yes, DIY has the kick up plate if as long as you don't install the 2 or 3 screws in the bottom. It's designed to go either way. As for the color, it's silver/chrome with black screening. The only problem I have with the screening is my reptifogger condenses way too much water on the screen...

Yeah yeah I can order the supplement on-line & pay ridiculous shipping, but that wasn't my question. Can this be used? Honestly once I'm preparing it for my sulcata, it takes less then 5 minutes to make it into a powder to dust with & I make it into a powder for my turtles, geckos & frogs...

    cuttlebone

OK so I use cuttlebone for some of my other pets after removing the hard shell on it & I was wondering since I can't find calcium without D3 in my area (gotta wait for the herp expo & cuttlebone is really cheap at the local feed supply store) if I put it in my mortar & pestle & made it into a...
