Thanks guys! Normally he all the yellow is green. I haven't seen that much yellow since that night. Is it normal for you chameleon to always be different colors on each side? One of Jelleybeans side is always a lot more colorful than the other.
I use a ceramic heater for my panthers basking spot. It's in a darker corner of his cage but he learned where to bask and warms himself up all the time under it. Chameleons may associate light with heat but they can also learn to bask without it.
I've been working with him almost daily. He has never been aggressive but has always been very shy. I can now get him to drink while sitting on my hand and hand feed. I am hoping that one day he will greet me when I open his cage and willing come out on my hand.
In the US we have more than one postal system.. I wouldn't trust the USPS but fedex is a different story. I got my cham shipped to me and he was fine. If we had to drive a lot of us wouldn't be driving just 400 miles it would be more like 2,000 miles round trip...I don't think a chameleon would...
Think about how many things you touch every day that other people touch. Keep that in mind when you say all you need to do is wash your hands. Washing hands is key don't get me wrong.
Reptiles cannot carry the Ebola virus. It is carried by humans, primates and bats. With bats being the most common. This whole Ebola thing is really freaking me out, I work in a hospital as a " front line" worker and they are already preparing us for if and when it hits my hospital  I may...
Are you sure it's a UVB bulb? Exo terra makes both full spectrum and UVB bulbs.. I'm not an expert but he looks like he has MBD and is dehydrated.
Good luck I hope everything turns out for you.
I think I may have created a monster by giving him such a variety! He's only 4.5 months old and won't eat silkworms, roaches, and has Ben super picky with his superworms. Crickets are all he likes and I hate them! I have some reptiworms coming in a few days and just ordered some walking sticks...
I have no idea why this forum was moved! The context is ideas on getting my Cham to eat dubias making it a general discussion not a forum about feeders themselves.
my male Panther will not eat dubias. I have gotten him to eat a few by hand feeding. When he has eaten them from my hand he just sort of left it half is his mouth not wanting to swallow.
Any ideas on getting him to eat them? I don't want to withhold food for a few days. How would you like it...
