It's a little tough to tell at that age. Usually you will be able to tell if there is a buldge at the base of the tail. I remember when my cham was that small, man they grow fast!

You can buy those at home depot/lowes. It looks like a large soffit vent. I ordered a couple while I was building an enclosure for my tegu. They come in different sizes, you just have to make sure which raduis/style you need.

Hey, Welcome to CF. During the shedding process people usually add a extra mist or two a day to ensure the shedding goes well. The lenght of the shed will depend on the chams age (when my cham was 3 months old it took maybe an hour or two) but with older chams it can take a day or more.
