Oh I have a reptarium. My complaints are that the zippers get stuck, and the mesh isn't as easy to see through as most cages. If you did get it, you could just cup feed and it wouldn't be a problem. Most of the time the chams hang out near the top anyways.
Sorry for your loss. It's so hard with WC, they die so suddenly. I just lost 2 WC pygmies.
Don't give up though! Maybe just try some CB ones next time.
Ok, so maybe that's just her coloring. It just seems like the greens have really come out since I got her. I think one day I'll try to find a green male and see what kind of babies they can make together. :)
I need to find a new home for my 2 mo old Male Veiled, Thomas. I really don't want to let him go, but he hates me so much I think it's causing too much stress for him. He hisses at me when I'm near his cage (not even looking at him), or putting crickets in. I feel like he would greatly...
I thought girl, boy, boy. Because the last two have pretty long tails. My girls have just little stubs. I'm newer to pygs but my boys look very different than my girls though. I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure. :)
I have a few questions. Do pygmys (Brevs) show gravid or receptive coloration?
Also my one girl (who maybe gravid, although I'm starting to suspect she's just f*t lol) was sitting on a branch the other day, and a male came up to her. All of the sudden the male puffed up, leaned to the side...
It's been in the 100+'s here. Right now it's 100 degrees at 8:30pm. lol! Luckily the ac keeps it nice for the chams and I spray often. There's never much humidity here, I just mist extra when it's really dry and make sure they have lots of plants.
I didn't see my chams eat them... So I dunno. I definitely didn't get dubias though because these suckers climb everywhere. So if I do get them I'll get Dubs. My chams are still pretty small though so I'd need little ones for a while.
How fast do they breed typically?
