LOL I gave William a roach and he took it, chomped it 2 times, then proceeded to spit it out. I swear if they made faces it would have been the most disgusted face ever. I tried to give him crickets after that but he wouldn't trust me. That must have been one nasty roach.
The Veiled I had (now Thompson has), was teeny tiny. Sometimes they are just small. However, pet stores are notoriously bad at giving correct information, she could have been younger than they said.
It's not possible. They are different species. I would imagine that it's almost like trying to get a house cat and a tiger to breed. Yea, they are both "cats" but it probably doesn't work. lol :)
So, a few times I saw one of my pygmys have a little tongue malfunction. It would like "barf" up its tongue but then it would go back in. I really don't know how to explain it any better than that. But he was fine, so I never thought it was an issue. Yesterday my husband told me he was...
I just finished student teaching, my students thought it was way cool that I had chams. I guess it just depends on the group of people you tell on what stigma you'll have. lol
Ditto, I checked a thing of meal worms and they were mostly dead, the supervisor told me to grab 2 more little containers for free. I would have kept the crickets and brought them with me when I went back. I'm crazy about stuff like that ;)
Its funny to watch them go crazy trying to get the shed off. I'd never seen my William so active until he shed. He was rubbing on everything and running back and forth. lol
