i have just noticed what you said about them sleeping on a select pothos vine my 4 month old panther has just gone in his new viv and sleeps on the same branch of a pothos without fail lol:D i would defo put bamboo or jungle vine in (i would go vine as it looks more real)

Being from the uk i would not go for a screen cage you will struggle to keep any kind of heat or humidity in it iv just got my 4month panther a Length x depth x height: 86cm x 49cm x 91.5 (34" x 19" x 36") vivexotic from http://www.reptiles.swelluk.com its only £169 and comes with a cabinet

I have read up on these guys before as i have 2 madagascar day geckos i belive they live for around 15 years but i guess with good care could go 15-20 years
