You can really put whatever you would like the vines with wrap around the the branches. When mine first started i would use bread ties to anchor it to a branch if the vines where to little. But just wrap them in your cage around things.

Watersam, If you are referring to the golden pothos ( I believe another name for them) yes they are safe for chameleon cages, And they grow like crazy!!!!! They are also very sturdy. Attached a photo to verify what you are talking about

You can get a ultrasonic cool mist humidifier if your worried about it. You can run it from time to time through out the day, and it will help with the humidity and also helps if you are running heat in the house.
