Wow. Interesting question. Were not. We have some panther eggs in the dark closet but these are in an incubator in the laundry room. Are the supposed to be in the dark? How do I upload photos from my iPhone?

No, you shouldn't water the hatchrite perse.... it should be moist before you put the eggs in - or if you do water it, becareful not to get the eggs all wet....
The humiditiy should be a little higher though - around the 80% mark.....
LOL - You're right, I should have put a WARNING on there - I just figured most people here have seen something like that - I guess that's what I get for assuming!...... I hope I haven't upset anyone...
It didn't, when I looked at it it was just open (as you see in the picture) it's really strange - all of the other eggs look good and are still viable... so I just hope it was a "freak accident".....
