Congrats, you must be so excited :D:D
When we take Gizzy in the car she refuses to be in a cage/ box. She likes to sit with me and look out of the window. Obviously that`s no good if your driving on your own though.
Will come back later to see you piccies :D
Thanks guys :D Gizzy and I have missed the forums and you guys too ! I have been dropping in here and there, but between holidays etc I haven`t had much free time recently. Gizzy has been spending plenty of time out in the sun now that we finally have some :)
Hope all of your...
Hi Guys, it`s been ages since I posted some pics of Gizzy mo so I thought I would share these, taken yesterday. Despite the egg op and her fat pads being removed she is doing great. We have had some tough times, but madam is thoroughly living life to the full and enjoying every single moment of...
I know what you mean - I have tried several hibi`s in Gizzy`s house and I just cannot get them to live longer than a few months. I have now found the perfect solution - Take wilting Hibiscus from the viv, throw on floor, jump up and down on said Hibiscus until it is mere pink pulp, scoop up and...
Hi and Welcome - i`m sure you`ll be hooked in no time. Buying my cham was the best thing i ever did. We have had our tough times, but Gizzy has given much back too.
What have you called your little guy ? Would love to see some pics too :D
I have everything crossed for you both and really hope things improve. You are both in our thoughts, we know how hard it is when your little one is poorly hang in there :)
Aaaw she is totally stunning :D Great that you are now able to hand feed her too - it is such an amazing feeling when they finally take food from you. :D
When Gizzy gets those spots it usually means she is furious with me, lol. :o
I just wondered if she was given privacy when laying also ? They are very shy and often will not lay if they feel watched. I used half sand half eco earth (blocks of coconut fibre) for Gizzy`s bin as advised by the forum, but as Gizzy never laid I can`t say if it works well.
I`m sorry your girl is so poorly, but please, please get her to the vet.
Females can lay unfertilised eggs whether they have ever seen a male or not, as was the case with my little girl, but despite the seriousness of the problem she is still with us today. it does not neccessarily mean...
