At 20, I would go with the humidifier suggestion (I like ultrasonic types) and use a digital timer to have it come on when the humidity levels are low. You will need to experiment with the timer schedule but I do know that you wouldn’t want it to come on just after a misting since the humidity...
… and what exactly are the humidity levels at after a misting and just prior to one? What species is it?
Keep an eye on the skin “rings” around its toes. These can be dangerous if they don’t come off and/or dry up. The dead skin can act as a tourniquet and cut off blood supply to the toes...
Not to sound like a butt kisser but the bottom line is that peeps like Mike, Tyler, Jenna and a few others breedes/importers/sellers are a real breath of fresh air to this hobby. Also, excellent attitude Chad and this hobby IS very challenging, humbling and can be very rewarding. Its one of...
I think your cham is definitely telling you it’s not happy. Post more detail on your husbandry and more detailed pics of the setup. 28(C) ambient IMO is too warm for an enclosure like that and you are probably not offering a sufficient heat gradient.

Well I encourage you and other to do the same. Brevs are not too bad to take care of if you have bigger cham experience under your belt. If most keepers had a small group of brevs we could keep each other going with new blood and forget the WC’s that will eventually become scarce or non...
No drain, I use two drainage layers under the substrate. At the bottom is hydroton and on top of that separated with plastic window screen is activated charcoal. Finally another piece of screen and then the top substrate/leaf litter. A bit of water makes it all the way to the bottom but not much...
I have a pretty good mix of tank sizes in my collection and I would say that the 15G is my least favorite; it’s hard to get my hands in there and work with it (looking for eggs, rearranging a few things, replace a plant). That and it sits on a top shelf and b/c of it (tank) being a bit tall it’s...
I recall seeing a thread in another forum where this was done on a female veiled who had "egg problems". There were some good pics of the removed ovaries and stitching. I wish I remembered where I saw it … it was couple years back so its tough to remember. I also believe the cham survived the...
I was actually wondering how those were doing with you. Glad to hear they are growing up nicely. At this time I am not working with them. I did early on in only b/c they were accidentally sent to me instead of brevs and also at that time I had real difficulty ID’ing them too and couldnt find a...
It can still be a bit challenging though since they are just like true chams in regards to air flow. So when you toss that into the mix, having both the proper humidity and good airflow in a glass enclosure can be tricky – that and avoiding an overly wet tank. Maintaining pygmy tanks the way I...
I am playing around with the idea. If I end up going I will PM you my cell# so we can meet up and cause a ruckus … maybe beat up vendors within inches of their lives who are taking really poor care of their chams (and I know there will be a few) – so basically having some fun.

I am not that all familiar with “black crickets” but it sounds like mold to me. The domestic crickets I use lay eggs in the dirt and they are not black.

I think your absolutely right Chris. I was going by the ezine article pics in which the male there had a much spinier looking rostral appendage. But after looking at yours, mine is looking like a male and maybe the nose has some more growing to do.
