I have decided to sell a bunch of my chams and make room for my next project.
I am selling my Male Ambilobe son of Fararano-orana (Autumn Sun) from Kammerflage. He is a little over 1 1/2. He is one of the tame-ist chameleons I have seen. He never gaps or hisses. He will randomly puff up but...
So this morning I woke up and did my normal head count. I counldn't find Big Mama one of my rudis girls. I seached and searched. Then I heard a small gasp behind a plant. So I looked and found her on the floor of the cage taking her last couple of breaths. I sat and wondered what I did wrong...
Very true everyone. I know I'm kind of new to the forums but very experienced when it comes to pygmies and some dwarfs. Still kinda new to panthers. I think although a lot of the threads are repetitive, its always going to be like that. I think a basic info sheet for specific chams would be a...
Its funny because most of the girls lay in the same general area and she decided to lay in the corner. I watched her drop an egg but then i left to give her privacy. Now to monitor her feeding and drinking for the next couple days before I pull the clutch.
So after doing my afternoon head count I took an hour nap. When I woke up I happened to do a quick count and saw this:
One of my little girls is laying...This is her 3rd clutch in 2 years!!
True he is more active as he is a chameleon hobbiest too. He actually was a chameleon hobbiest before he made the aquazamp. Marty @ MistKing may not be involved in the everyday forums of chameleon care but he is always available to answer questions you may have about his product if you ever PM...
Honestly,
I have both. I use the Kammer cage for my panther as he was bought with it from the original owner. I also use the Reptibreeze for my Rudis girls. Both work great. Now if you are changing cages because you need a bigger one because your chameleon needs a bigger one. Well, you can...
Hello everyone,
Well today was a GREAT day at the show! Lots of reptiles and spiders like normal, including some exotic birds too. Nice showing of beautiful chams from Chad @ TikiTiki, FLChams had some nice ones, Kammerflage with some nicely colored panthers.
MistKing - Special shout out to...
Do you have a picture of the enclosure? It's hard to suggest things with see it bc everyones situations are different. If you are feeding small crickets you don't need the fruit flies...
Two inches with a the tail or nose to tail base? If you could show a picture it I could definetly tell you what to feed it and how so you can keep track...The picture should have something to compare it to so I can tell the size.
Chad- I seen you guys at the SD show back in June. You had a panther hanging up which was so docile and beautiful. That pretty much made me get my male I have. I got him from a friend that was moving and he was docile already so I had to. I will for sure stop by and introduce myself.
1. All lights should be on a timer. They make surge protectors with timers on them. Therefore, at night none of the lights should be running.
2. never spray down the cham, spray down the actual plants within the cage. Also, invest in a little dripper to help hydrate the cham when your not...
It actually depends on the type of chams. I keep my Pygmies and Dwarfs in little breeding colonies. My brevs and temps do just fine. My Rudis were fine as a 1.2 trio. I had a heavily planted cage and the male was young and smaller than the girls. Once they mated the girls pretty much punked him...
