There was 3 different categories. Adult shirts, general shirts, and kids shirts. One winner for each and one of the three is the grand prize winner. I think I could have won all the categories but didn't have time to make them. I randomly saw the contest when I was on their site like 3 days...
So I won the grand prize for the LLL Reptile t-shirt design contest. So any of you who have kids make sure you pick up one of their new shirts when they come out. I designed the new kids shirt and also won the overall. Sorry I had to boast!!!:D
What you should do is return that Monsoon system and buy yourself a MistKing or AquaZamp. I personally use the MistKing higher end system but the starter systems from either MistKing or AquaZamp both blow the exo-terra monsoon system out of the water. If you want the rain drops go for the...
The panther is sold!!!
I have the CB Rudis female left. She's waiting to go to her new home. $50 takes her home. Of you want her entire set up I'll let it go for $200 obo. Includes Rudis, 32x16x20 cage (only two months old), plants, uvb light fixture with bulbs, and heat lamp with bulbs. You...
I'm glad you two like them. I'm a man of my word. I said the larger female was going to lay or has layed ad the smaller female is receptive. Wait until you catch them breeding. It took me about 2 1/2 years before I got to witness it with my pygmies. Maybe you'll be luckier. Well, I hope all goes...
First off ditch the water dish. if you mist only twice a day it should be heavily. you need to drop your temps. Aim for low 70s like 72-75. 80 is not optimal. Don't drop in so many crickets. I drip in 14 at a times every other morning in my 1.4 Brev colony. The crickets are all gone within minutes.
Wow. One benjie? I can get like 8 WC sens from my importer for that price. Well, we learn and move on. I hope your breeding project goes well and you can make some of that money back. Too bad it probably cost more to care for them then your going to get back anyways. Kind of like my Pygmies.
I've never seen my little ones eat plants. I don't ever see any nibble marks either so I'd say they don't but I'm not 100% positive that none of them eat plants.
I'm glad you can read. I understand they just recently changed the classification to trios but most people know them as Mt. Dwarf Chameleons and as they don't get bigger than 5-6 inches I consider them dwarfs. Hence my statement about dwarf chameleons. Sorry for using a term you don't like. Ill...
In my opinion and dealing with all types I think dwarf chameleons are the hardest to take care of. Panthers and Pygmies are a breeze compared to dwarf. With my Rudis colony it took me awhile to figure out how
to do it. Do u use a screen cage or glass terrarium? and what are the demensions? I...
Very Nice!! It reminds me of me a couple years back when I had like 8 colonies and like 4 neonate vivs. It was crazy. Guaranteed eggs almost every month.
I am dropping the price of the female Rudis to say $50 obo. I see a large amount of Rudis just came in and everyone is selling them for $40 but my girl is CH and in healthy condition. Not WC, so I know she is going on 11 months.
Sorry forgot this: With the right conditions a WC female should live an average of 1-2 years from time of getting them. The smaller, obviously means the younger. WC males should give you a solid 3 years with the right husbandry.
As a breeder this is what I have found. From birth to death my females average around 2-4 years but they are mated year around living in colonies of about 1male and 3-5females. My longest male is still alive and I hatched him in 2006. He's the only one I have kept. I sold the others.
Females...
