I live in ATL as well. I also recommend Panther Baron. Got my little guy from him and Justin is always timely with his responses to any questions. Repticon is here in late July and he will be there. Good place to meet him and pick up your dude...or chick if you prefer.
Yea, I don't see anything really concerning either. In the first picture though it makes me wonder if he is rubbing his nose/head in the screen? If so it may be time for a cage upgrade. He is probably going to hit a growth spurt soon anyway. Good luck!
Yea, I think there needs to be more misting. I do 2 mins 4x/day. I may increase that a little more too. Also, I may have missed it, But how long did you have the Cham? How old was it? Where did you get it?
I'm not really sure what you're asking. You want a chameleon? If so just look at the site sponsors on here that breed chameleons and contact one of them. There are some very good breeders on here that have all the info you need as far as lineage and care. Good luck.
Go to aquazamp.com. On the left hand side, under information, it has the instruction manual for the digital timer. I don't know about aquazamp but my timer from mistking has battery backup. I'm sure that one does too but to test it, just unplug it and see if it stays on.
Shipping took a week. The Great Stuff Pond and Stone foam is pretty sweet. It's aesthetically pleasing, creates extra strength and does a good job hiding the support of the mounted plants with all the zip ties and such. It's a damn mess though. I would suggest getting two cans of it. Practice a...
I got my Dragon Strand Atrium cage setup this weekend. I followed the Advanced cage setup guide that Bill so graciously posted on his site. Definitely couldn't have done it without that.
I used the 16x16x30 reptibreeze for my young panther. reptibreeze is a good price for a cage you know they'll grow out of. When it was time to upgrade to his permanent cage I went with the higher quality Dragon Strand. Now I can use my reptibreeze for his outdoor cage when I'm around the house.
Plenty of ways to see that he is experienced? You mean the post title of "my first panther"? Or the comment about picking up an egg? Or the comment about putting a hatchling in a bird cage. None of that gives me the impression of "experienced". I'm not quite sure why you wanted to jump in this...
i wasn't trying to offend you. I just assume that if someone is posting stuff on the forums that they are seeking advice or are willing to engage in general discussion in regards to their post. Good luck with your egg
No, you should feed him. You don't know when the last time he has eaten. Make sure you have your heat lamp and uv light on him right away too. He's a good looking boy. And yes, I was thinking if he wasn't already on medium crickets he prob would be soon so you should be good with those. Good...
