My male Panther does the same thing. He will crawl down to the bottom and walk around and then crawl back up a few times a day.

My male Reptar has super short nails. It's difficult for him to climb the screen in his cage. On the other hand my female has super long nails. Is there anything I can do for my boy to get his nail growth up?

Mine is doing the same thing. try giving it a shower with warm water. it helps. Otherwise take it to the vet.

sounds like they are laying eggs. I always have a billion crickets hatch when mine lay eggs even if some get eaten.

You could always just buy a timer lol. they are pretty cheap and will do the job.
