You only use 35 watt bulbs for heat? for a cage that large I use 75 or 100 watts for mine or the lower watt but equivalent kind. make sure the basking is warm enough. 89 is not very high for basking. 95 is preferred. The heat helps them digest their food so he may have an upset stomach.
