Where are you from? I bought a cage topper for my 29 gallon tanks and it has been awesome. This way you get the best of both worlds, humidity increased in the enclosure but airflow optimized on the top half. I don't know why more people don't use them or even discuss them.
A little...
Cucumbers? slight little slivers - can they be fed to a chameleon once in a while? What types of veggies are good for chams?
Butterfly bush - Can you use these branches inside a cham enclosure? Are they toxic at all?
Definitely drainage. Definitely slightly bigger holes in screen to help visibility.
Definitely drainage. Sturdy enough on top to hold all equipment.
Definitely drainage. eyelets or hooks inside for zip ties for fake plants, feeder cups, vines, branches, etc.
And definitely drainage...
Some reward show. He was getting booed while presenting an award and asked the audience why. Danny Bonaduce came out and told him that is because "they all hate you". After he walks away, Fairplay jumps up on him and pretended to be humping him. Bonaduce then proceeded to throw him over his...
Please post some new pics of yours. Please try to take similar pics to this post to compare. I have a sibling of your and he is nowhere near as big as this one. And mine is a pig.
check out tyler stewart from blue beast reptiles. He is selling some used cages which would be great for your new cham.
I ordered one myself and he is great to work with. Check for his post under the forums in Misc. Supplies for sale.
Oh yeah, welcome and congrats on your decision.
Definitely he needs more food. I recommend at least 10 crix a day and some small meal worms as a treat and to add some variety.
Are there such things as runts in chams? I would assume so. I have a boxer who is only half the size of all of her brothers and sisters. Nature sure is amazing...
What kind of panther? What kind of cage?
At a year old, he/she seems really small. If I am wrong, I am sure someone will correct me.
Please add some pics if possible. I feed my cham (5 month ambilobe panther) several meal worms a week (1-2 a day) and up to 10 crix a day. The crix I can...
I am slightly concerned about the temperature of the water. I wonder if chams get brain freeze like humans. I think you would be better served using a plastic cup with a pin hole in it, which works just as well as most drip containers sold at major retailers.
I always use warmer water b/c I...
Look at my post from tonight in Photography (elvis update). I received one of kely-akondro's offspring from them back in August. Within 2 months he has grown so much. The only problem is that he won't let me pick him up.
He is about to enter his 3rd shed since I got him. Everything going well, slowly becoming time to upgrade his cage. Right now he is in a 30" by 36 inch, half glass aquarium with a topper added. It has worked great so far and he spends most of his time up top. Just a few pics. I will look to...
