You're definitely going in the right direction! The 100W basking bulb I think is a little much, and may cause burns on your little guy. I have a male panther and I use a 57W and it's plenty hot enough and gets the basking spot up to 90 Degrees F. And if the black heat light is for night, you...

I can get my huge camera super close to him for close ups and he acts like I'm not even there..lol IDK what to do with him:p

I hold the cup up to my panther and get the crickets to crawl around and he picks them off. Then I let one or two go on a stick in front of him and he gets to hunt a little. If I let any go in his cage, they end up crawling up the screen and he will hunt and pick them off that way.

Loki is over a year old now, and hasn't "fired up" for about 5 months! He's very easy going, which I LOVE! But I want to see his "fired up"colors! I was trying to think of the best way to do this without stressing him out too much...I tried the mirror and he just looked at it and tried to climb...

I use the bug burger dry because the crickets seem to eat it better and gel cubes for the hydration. I was thinking of switching to cricket crack next though to see how the crickets react to it, I've heard good things. Both have really good nutritional value and make it easier to gutload

I totall saw "flys in my pants" when I read the title..haha it must be time for bed! lol I got some of those annoying little guys too, but I got some plants to switch out every week to let them dry out and it took care of the problem. Now I have pretty plants on my patio and my chameleon cage!:p

Mine does this weird yawn in the mornings, usually more when he's trying to pop a shed. He opens his mouth as wide as it will go, puff up as big as he will go, and then wriggle around all weird like a snake almost....it's freaky looking when you first see it lol hopefully yours is just doing...

I don't think I would have been able to get out of there without crying either...I'm so sorry she had to have a life like that:( I hope she goes to the big chameleon tree in the sky and her suffering ends soon
