    How much should she weigh?

I have an 8 month old male veiled and he is 99 grams. I don't have a female.... but at this age you might want to read JannB's blog re eggs. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/jannb/345-egg-laying-laying-bin.html

    My cat died :(

I am so deeply sorry as my heart goes out to you and your family. 17yrs is a long time and it shows how well you cared for her. I know this time is hard and in time you will be able to look back at all the wonderful years you shared together.

    Other breeds of lizards

I actually handle my chams daily and they are fine with it. I have one that would hang out with me all day if I let him. I also have a Chinese Water Dragon. He loves to be held and he goes to Petsmart with me when I pick up supplies. My 4yr old grand daughter also handles all my scaley...

    False vs. Real Plants

I like to use a mixture of fake and real plants for both my panthers and veiled. I also use store bought vines, assorted size dowel rods and assorted sterilized sticks from my yard. I like to mix things up to give them an assortment things to climb on and I change them as they grow. I do...

    Cricket Dilemma

Hi, do you know the breeder of your cham. Maybe they can tell you apx what size crickets they will be eating at the time. My 3 month Ablilobe and Sambava were easily eating 1/2 inch crickets when he arrived. If this is your only cham I would not order more then 500 crickets at a time. You...

    Mold on feeder food

What you are feeding your feeders ... you are feeding to you chams. Feed them veggies they get veggies. Feed them apples you feed apples. So IMO if you feed them a food that has mold on it... you are in turn feeding your cham mold. I personally would not do it.

    poor little boy =(

That is really sad .... but what is even worse is once they sell him to someone that doesn't know any better, they will just restock with another Cham that will probably end up sick in their care. Do you have a local humane society that could go in to this store and take a look at him??
