    feeder setup

Hey Piglet, Can you please tell me how I can raise hornworms? I see you have quite the setup for feeders. I can get them for free from an organic farm but Olympia said that they are tainted if they ate tomatoes but OK for starting a colony. Your thoughts on this?

    Army worms?

Thanks Olympia! If they did not eat tomatoes they would be OK? I can ask that he only gives me the worms that he gets out of the non-tomato garden. Also if I choose just to start a breeding colony, how hard are they to raise? I have never bred or raised any feeders before but I like that I...

First - Thanks for freeing him from that pet shop hell. Second I love this photo. His eyes say it all. My 5 month old ambilobe male Memphis loves to be out of his cage. Granted he lives like a king in there. The biggest the best, yet he will climb the door over and over if he sees me, until you...

OUCH Olive - you jerkball - she bit me - lol

Hi leaf, Yee i don't know Olive, but I have my own sociopath. He is the only chameleon that has ever bitten me and yes it hurt and drew blood. I have resigned myself to handle him with care as if he gets frightened he may bite. That is his nature. However the rest of my chams are as gentle...

OUCH Olive - you jerkball - she bit me - lol

Yeah they can bite and it does hurt if they do by accident. They do have sharp teeth, but they are gentle and don't mean to hurt us. As all my chams love to be held. I never fear them nor they I. Realize how nice it is that we have cultured a friendship with this wild reptile. Kind of amazing if...

Hey Pigglet, Like your idea too. I use a 75 w halogen bulb from GE It looks just like a regular lightbulb but throws a lot of heat and white light.
