I have had my cham for four months now,but she has never had a good diet.I have tried three types of worms and moths but she has not taken to them at all,I tried free ranging and cup with the worms. The only thing she eats is crickets, and even then I get her to eat more than two a day. Will she be...
Good idea!I'll try that once a new one pops out.I think she munched one down though,it was really fast,so it could have been a cricket. It was right where I left it,but didn't even have time to check for wings hanging out.
So,how do your chams take to moths?I had some hatch today out from my silkworm bin. This is the first time I introduced them to her,and she just looked at it like what the hell.Is it something she would need to get used to?
No problem sharing just thought it was cool that they have more than just shirts
BTW:I did see a Chameleon Forum T-shirt on there as well
Edit:oops Dunnigan beat me to that one
So,I was just looking at my favorite T-shirt site.Just for the hell of it I typed in chameleon, and found some shirts, buttons and what not chameleon related. So thought I would just share!!!!!

Well shes not a young one (about 5 months)but she is small.I have had her for 4 months now and today for the first time she ate more than 5(she ate over 20).So,is she too old or is it too late to let eat this much or can I give them to her as she wants still?I'm hoping she will catch up and...
So,I've been wondering for awhile now.I've been feeding "Kinky" everyday for awhile.I have heard they eat better if you feed them every other day.I have a varied diet but she loves crickets! So,is it really better to wait a day in between feedings or continue as I doing?
BTW:today she ate the...
thanx all,but from what I have read so far it talks about silkworms and the eggs.I have been corrected and told that I have moths.Does this thread go into that as well?
So I've noticed in my silkie container that there are many little things that look like spider egg sacks. Is that what this is?If so how many should I expect per sack and how would I care for them?
Well I've been using a the cup that you get when you buy worms at a pet store,a three inch, white cup.I've heard that they might not eat out of a white cup.Is that true? So,what size and color cup should I use?
thanx Nick, but i got bars in front of the screen and I've noticed that if they go behind the bars shes not going for them.I'm not sure what to do since free ranging doesn't seam to work.I've tried to cup feed for a couple weeks with even worse luck.I give her all the crickets she can handle...
Hey Syn,I'm sorry but what is chitin?By the way I've tried supers with the same luck as silkies.I'm just trying to find something she will take:confused:
I just bought some mealworms the other day,and was wondering what is the best way to give them to my cham?I've tried silkies in a cup and on a branch but she did not take to them at all:(.
