my pothos is getting drenched and soaked when i mist and from the dripper. I guess i should just aim it differently but, anyone have any ideas, to keep live plants from overwatering ?

Yea, he shies away. I mean, he knows if i mess with the door, something good is coming, but he's skittish. So its bad to try right way? even if there is no rapport yet? don't try n rush it, let him get used to me, then try and hand feed?

Loki is on his 6th day with us and is doing well (don't wanna jinx). Had a good shed, knows where his food gets placed every day, knows the water system, knows where the basking spot is. Im very impressed, he is very intelligent. I know he's gonna go thru some "phases", but till then, I'm a lot...

Def not supplementing too much. Got him 4 days ago. First day Cal with D3. Next 2 Cal no D3. Today, no dusting. He's starting to shed today. And actually watched him drink some water (was alil nervous bout hydration). Girl at pet store said the stuff on his nose was from a prior shed.

They're tiny. Also, might have to figure out a way to keep em contained. If there in there, i can't get em all out when they're running free. What damage can they do ?

I shut his lights and left 3 crickets in there with him. Woke up to Zero crickets. Did they escape, or do chams eat at night, with no light ?

Picked him up from pet shop :( But, looks in fine health. Hopefully he acclimates to his new (much better) setup.

I cleaned the plant up. Gonna re-soil as well. My bigger concern Is the stick holding the plant. If I take it off , it's gonna droop.

Just bought one yesterday, from Lowes. It's in a small pot (the plant itself is rather small) but it has a stick for the leaves/vines to grow on. It appears to be wrapped in a sort of hay straw kind of decoration. Big deal or no ?

The zoo med deep dome lamp fixture, can I put it directly on top of my cage? I have the reptibreeze terrarium. It says hang it, but I've seen some setups that show it directly on top of the cage.

whats their reasoning? (for using separate) ?

Just got the Zoo Med 18" terrarium hood. I assumed it was the long fluorescent bulb that fit. Nope. the hood has the space for 2 bulbs. Can i do the old, 1 UVB 1 heat bulb combo with the hood. Is this safe?
