Ambilobes usually color up very fast, however some others like sambavas take like 2 years to show their color. So yeah, he could be pastel, or he could just be a late bloomer. Could we have a pic where he is more directly illuminated? It's hard to see him in that pic with him backlit.

Not exactly true. The aquazamps are top fed with a dropped tube, no drilling required. So if you already have a reservoir, and it needs acces from the top, go with aquazamp. They're also having a 130 shipped special... Can't beat it, gotta email him quick though.

I just did a search for "5 month old nosy be" and honestly he looks good! About the same as a few, some are more developed, but I'm no longer worried. Plus with the colors he showed me today, I feel like he was saying, "hey friend, don't worry. I'll get there!"

In pic 1 he's saying (in a creepy breathy whisper) "...i love... this wall... [strokes the wall]"
