We've recently decided to downsize our Nosy Faly (Oorana Mena) panther chameleons and get into other types of chameleon. So we've decided to try to trade one of our high end proven breeder adult males.
Azul is our youngest captive born/bred male at 13months. He is a very happy healthy proven...
Never heard of it being done for cooling (of course I'm from Missouri so cooling isn't really an issue) but I've personally used wine coolers, old refrigerators, and even pop coolers (after being gutted minus the fans) as incubators. Of course with all of them I've had to install heat tape and...
Definitely liking the idea of getting at least 1 or possibly trying to find an unrelated pair. They don't seem very colorful or popular because of that but hey neither am I lol
So their incubation time is around the same as panthers... That's not a huge deal breaker for me. Kind of used to it with the panthers. It should be worth the wait then.
Wish weather in Missouri was like that instead its 60 one day and 20 the next anymore then over 100 in the summer...
I'm definitely thinking about bigger enclosures (around 3' wide, 2ft deep and 5-6' tall) since free ranging isn't an option with 3 dogs and 5 kids including a 11month old who gets into everything.
Does anyone know much about breeding and egg incubation temps or relative length of incubation?
Ok. I've been breeding and raising panthers for about 7yrs along with veileds and jacksons but hadn't gotten into Oustalet's due to the lack of information
I've been looking through all of the posts on here and even googled looking for a care sheet and there's only very vague information referring to them (guessing because of how unpopular they are). The only posts I've seen have been over a year old and didn't give the information I'm looking for...
Noone interested???
Also interested in trios of Oustalet's, African Flapneck, Carpets, other locales of Panther Chameleons ect... let me know what you have...
I'm not 100% where this should be posted (kinda new here) but I've been entertaining the idea of trading one of my male Nosy Faly panther chameleons for a trio of veiled, Senegal or Jackson's chameleons (don't have to be breeding age). We currently breed strictly panther chameleons and are...
I raise and breed Nosy Faly Panther Chameleons and am just basically looking for new cost efficient enclosure ideas. I already have xl open-air reptibreeze cages they are already in. I'm just looking for unique showcase ideas for them that won't break the bank. Any help is appreciated.
