My girl has done this a couple times. I also hung some kale in there (spritzed with water first because I thought she might be thirsty!) and she chowed down on it.

Hey everyone! Just curious what you guys do in the event of a power outage? We recently had bad storms here in Indiana about a half hour north of me, and they've been without power for a couple days now and it got me thinking...what would I do with Pickles if that were to happen where I live...

I have thought of going out at my parents (they live in the country) to catch a praying mantis or two for Pickles. Do they not attack the cham when they're being eaten though? I know I had one of those latch on and bite me once and it was PAINFUL. That's stopped me from giving her any up to this...

My girl bit me one time, when she grabbed my finger instead of the cricket I was feeding her. That tongue latched on, she pulled my hand in, and chomped. There was no getting away from it without hurting her so I let her do it and knew she'd figure it out. It does not hurt. It's more startling...

Pickles shed on only her belly this last time. The rest of her is just starting to look like it's going to shed soon. So weird!

What is the temp where you live? Pickles gets very dark outside too - they do that to absorb more heat and sunlight. She'll turn one side really dark and her other side will still be bright green.

My girl loves to be handled and come out. Don't get me wrong, she has her moments of wanting her space which I gladly give her, but majority of the time she is like your's she's right there at the front trying to climb on me as I walk by. Some are definitely more social than others, so enjoy it...
